Daisy was fourteen and I had to put her to rest on April 21, 2014...
She had cushing syndrome... and was suffering... and I had to make the hardest decision for her.
I took her to my vets, who know her very well, and she went to rest in my arms quickly and with dignity as she had lived all her life. With dignity.
Daisy was my best friend, travel buddy, camping buddy and helpful to all the foster animals that have passed through my doors! I miss her so much and cry often but I know she is with her brother at the rainbow bridge.
I will eventually rescue another dog, but right now I am not ready as I miss her so much and need to grieve for her.
It's been a month and it still hurts so much...
